Tuesday morning my 19 month old woke up with 103.3 fever. I took him to the doctor was told he has hand foot mouth. Wednesday fever finally went back to normal for a little bit. Thursday morning at 4am he woke up with a 103 fever. Later in the afternoon temp was Normal. Today he woke up feeling great. Now he has 101 fever. I was told by the doc Tuesday his fevers are prolly high due to his immune system shot because of having croup the week before. She also said his fevers could last up to 5 days. His hand foot mouth is fairly mild other than his high fevers. We do rectal temps for accuracy. Has any one else has this happen? Had how long do fevers usually last with this?
