Hair loss on my newborn? Help

Does anyone else have a newborn that keeps loosing hair. I’m very cautious of every product that I buy and use on my baby’s skin like using certain detergent, lotions, creams, moisturizers ect. But I do notice he’s been loosing hair from certain areas of his scalp. It could also be because he keeps turning his head a lot when he’s laying down. Does anyone else deals with this issue and how to prevent him from losing more?

Newborns usually lose some or most of their hair in the first few months and then their permanent hair eventually grows back in. I don’t think there’s really much you can do to prevent it

It's normal. My kids lost a little hair in the same spot. Some lose a lot of hair, mine never did but all babies are different. Just don't be alarmed if they lose more as time goes on.

It’s normal. My son had a good amount of hair when he was born, but not long after that it started to fall out and he was almost completely bald by 3 months. By 5 months it was growing back. By the time he made a year he had a full head of thick hair.

All of my kids lost most of their hair by the time they were 3 months lol. It’s completely normal & not anything you can prevent

This is 100% normal and most babies lose all of their hair and it grows back. Like postpartum for women. And it’s in patches because that’s where baby rubs his head the most.
