What's the best way to track basal body temperature?

Hey ladies, I'm curious to know how you track your basal body temperature for fertility charting. Do you prefer using a regular thermometer or a specialized one? Any tips or tricks for accurate readings?

You need a bbt thermometer that reads like 97.45. Pick a time in the am to take your temp when you know you have at least 3 hours of sleep. Temp at that same time each am before you move or get out of bed and stay within 30 mins of that time you picked. You’re looking for lower temps before ovulation and higher after.  It doesn’t have to be for when you get up for the day. I temp at 5:20 pee and go back to sleep.
