Any runners out there?

Michelle
Ladies, I was a runner about a year before I b came pregnant. I ran 3-4 times a week, about 16 miles a week. I did an 8-10 mile run in the weekends. My husband and I tried for four months to conceive and the whole time I was determined that once I became pregnant, I would keep running for as long as I could. I was never fit, I am actually overweight and was the whole time I was running. I just like doing it and I like the way it makes me feel.
Once I became pregnant, I kept running, but cut back. The long runs became too difficult for me, so I eventually cut my runs down to 3.1 miles, three times a week. I am 14 weeks pregnant, still doing them, and am enjoying the energy I feel like they give me. I think this pregnancy HAS been easier than my first, and I keep hoping it has to do with the fact that I am more active and it is something o can control. Are there any runners out there who ran during pregnancy? If so, how long into your pregnancy did you run? How many miles a week? At what point did you know it was time to stop? My doctor says it is totally fine and I can run till my hips start hurting.
