Is it casual enough to wear a dress to an ultrasound appointment?

Would a casual outfit be appropriate for an ultrasound appointment or is formal attire expected? Additionally, what would be considered a casual outfit in this context?

I wear  just an everyday dress if weather appropriate so I don’t have to get undressed, just take off my underwear. So convenient!  I’ve gone in athletic shorts with a workout bra, jeans and a tshirt. I’ve worn it all.

Not making fun but all I could think was "gotta make a good first impression" with baby 🤣🤣 But really, casual clothing is expected .Transvaginal ultrasound requires you to remove your pants and either wear a gown or a paper covering. An abdominal ultrasound is most comfortably done wearing elastic waistband shorts or pants as you need to pull them down to the pubic area

I’m sorry, but I’m just picturing you showing up to an ultrasound in a full ball gown when you say formal attire. Lol. I usually roll up in my baggy sweats and tee. Absolutely nothing formal about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
