How can I financially prepare for my maternity leave?

Hello, lovely ladies! Maternity leave often comes with financial considerations. Can you share any tips or strategies on how to financially prepare for this time off? Your insights would be greatly appreciated!

FMLA for sure, they provide 60% of your check. (In Wisconsin anyway,  not sure if it differs by state)
If you can pay your rent/mortgage a couple months ahead of time, that will be helpful. 
It’s limiting your spending , really. Not buying excess. No eating out, making larger meals like spaghetti/lasagna/chili that you can get multiple meals out of and freeze. 
My job allows for friends to donate PTO to increase your bank to help supplement or take more time off paid.
