When does it stop?

It hurts to move and sit and do anything... When will the bleeding stop and when will the pain go away??? 4th degree episiotomy here... I'm healing wonderfully but still in pain. It's manageable with Motrin and the pain medicine my doctor prescribed:( 6 days Pp

Omg the memories. I had a third degree tear. Sitz bath did nothing, only made it more painful. A nurse recommended that I pour warm black tea into my perry bottle, and then use that to wash my downstairs. I did that, and I healed in about a month. No pain or infection. But before that, it was warm perry bottle and ibuprofen!

The sitz baths Don't really help if Anything it's barely any relief... It itches terribly which is good it means it's healing but I can't even touch it:(...

I was 3 weeks pp before I stopped bleeding..6 weeks I was completely healed "down there" I got my period tho...

I had a 3rd degree almost 4th degree tear and a episiotomy as well.. I can honestly say I couldn't set comfortably for about 3 months. The first 3-4 weeks were really bad then it started to get a tad better after that.
Sitz baths ,showers and tucks were my best friend for those months.

Sitz baths will help. I bled for 12 weeks with my first and I only had a small tear. Typically it's not the sutured areas that are bleeding anyway.
