Period like pains?? 37+2

Hey girls! For the past 3 days I’ve been getting period like pains they’re obvious pains too they come for a while then go, I’m 37+2 is this just body prepping? I’ve not had any other signs of labour yet not lost any mucus or anything just wondering if anyone else experienced this around this time?

In the same boat, I’m 37&3 and been having cramping and some contractions here and there. All normal. Body is prepping
