Cervical mucus ? What is it?

Ladies I'm clueless....what is it and how do you know...I checked for my first time today and it was just moist nothing stringy...it kinda stick together when my fi gets touch but didn't create a string....I've never really checked up on that part of ttc I just take ovulation test

Some people don't have much if you do have enough to examine this will help if not atleast look into following vaginal sensation if it feels moist inside not with fight but as you move throughout your day.

Mine is usually there when I wipe for around 3 days when I ovulate - clear, kinda slimy and stringy, as in a longish glob that stretches. It tends to smell kind of more salty around the time I ovulate (TMI, sorry!)
