nexplanon to skyla

I have to get my birth control implant replaced very soon and my obgyn thinks that getting skyla (IUD) would be the best option for me for birth control. have any of you recently made this switch? thoughts?

I use Skyla and I love it. It's painful getting it put in but my periods have gone from 9 days to 5 and from very heavy to light.

No but my gynecologist said it was the best IUD out there in her opinion
