HCG levels not going down?

I found out a couple weeks ago that my HCG wasn’t doubling like it was supposed to. I was told that the pregnancy would likely end in miscarriage. At 5w4d I started bleeding and my HCG levels went down from 256 to 179. I had an ultrasound and nothing was seen so I was told it was a very early miscarriage. I confined to bleed for 6 days and it was like a heavy period. I had another doctors appointment yesterday and another ultrasound. I just got my blood work back from yesterdays appointment and my HCG is at 182. So it didn’t go down at all in three days. I messaged my doctor but haven’t heard back. Is it normal for HCG to stall after a miscarriage or should it have gone down more by now? I’m freaking out especially going into the long weekend.
