I had my sept 3rd baby today. I came in for a more natural induction all we did is soften my cervix, besides the ripening I decided to let myself labor naturally. Around midnight I was able to get in a birthing tub, I was handling my contractions like a pro. I thought to myself “this is so much better than a Pitocin induction and I can do this” I’ve had 2 other babies by being induced with Pitocin and the contraction pain was awful so I got epidurals with both. Well my water broke on it’s own while in the water and by the way it hurt like a b*tch I thought my bones were braking in my pelvic area and from there the contractions were the worst thing I’ve ever felt. In all my births I’ve always been told I’m stoic because I’m so quiet during contractions and while pushing…got out of the water so my midwife could move my cervix up and I was screaming STOP! I was crying in pain and my body was forcing me to push, no matter how much the nurses and midwife would say take a brake my body was pushing. Anyways moral of my story was not worth going through a natural birth lol but all the power to ya if you want this. This was my last baby so doesn’t matter but if I ever do end up with a 4th epidural let’s go!!!!!!!! 🤣
