Is story a boy name or a girl name ?

Me and my husband really like the name story, he thinks it’s unisex and will work for either a boy or a girl but I worry it’s too feminine sounding. What do you think?

P.s. I don’t care if you don’t like the name in general. It’s to honor my deceased mother so please any other opinions on it are not warranted. Thanks!

For me, it sounds feminine, but the name is terrible for whatever gender.

Considering names switch genders every day (Ashley, Alley, Csrter, Carson, Freddie, Johnie, Lacey, etc.) It really doesnt matter what anyone else thinks. Pick what you love. I love Story and was thinking of using it for my son mostly, but its just fine for a girl too
