I’m on my second pregnancy. First pregnancy I got a midwife appointment through my GP. This was around 5 weeks. This time around my GP has given me the midwife team’s number and I’ve been calling since last week and no one is picking up. I’ve left voicemails and no call back even though the voicemail message says I’ll get a call back in 24 hrs. I’m travelling soon and will be away til the new year. I need to get registered etc. any advice on what to do next?

I’ve also called the midwife emergency team and all they did was take my details and said I’d get a call on Friday which never came.
