So my boyfriend and I had picked out the name Lilith for a girl. I absolutely love it and have been so excited about. Out of nowhere today, my boyfriend says he doesn't want Lilith anymore because in some Jewish folklore or whatever Lilith was a demon or some bull crap. I personally don't care because I've never heard in the bible anything about this. He vetoed the name and told me I was stupid for wanting the name when it had that meaning. So we decided on the name briar for both a boy and a girl which is fine. But then he goes on to say he wants to name it briar Rey for both boy and girl and I said no I didn't want that! I want some variety and a name I really like. He goes on to tell me that I'm being selfish and just picking names I like and not letting him have names he liked. Which isn't true. He's mad because I said no on Lillian because one of my friends just named her baby that. Am I wrong here? I don't think I'm being selfish. I think he's being selfish for not letting me name our baby a name we both liked because of some MYTH! Help! Opinions would be great!
