I am in the same boat as you: don't particularly enjoy it but want to do it for him at least once in awhile. What has made it bearable for me is to have a lot of foreplay like normal beforehand and get you really wet...it will kind of "drip down" and help as a lubricant. I'm allergic to most types of lube so we tried this stuff called Astroglide (you can get it at Walmart) for regular sex and decided to try it for anal. Works wonderfully and the previous suggestions about relaxing and fingers work well too. Can't really say I enjoy it but it works for when the hubby wants something different.

What works for us to take it slooooow slow slow.
Lots of foreplay with toys, lube, and deep breaths. I try to focus on relaxing my body as I exhale. We use a vibrator usually at the same time and it's a huge difference, it's wonderful.
