It also depends how old you are if you are 17 and he is seven years old, probably not, if he’s 20 and you’re 30, he’s probably in a different place in life than you are, do you want somebody? Who’s your equal who has his life together, you don’t have to be his mommy or him be a project that you have to clean up after him and pay for everything yourself because he can’t keep a job, or he’s used to his mom doing everything. I’ve done the younger man thing before, when I was in my early 30s, and he was in his early 20s, never again. He was the most irresponsible person I’ve ever met in my life who would neglect responsibilities and they would end up on my plate. I’m currently dating somebody who is younger than me however, he’s a doctor and it’s a different story. He’s a first year resident for anesthesiology, and a five year program so most likely nothing is happening for the next five years and I’m totally fine with that. Because I’m in no rush. He’s 31, I am 45 on Thursday, but he’s an old man so it’s a different story. He’s not the party guy that I need to worry about being irresponsible, with Dui etc. It all depends where you are, and where he is in life. Level of maturity, level of responsibility, someone who is you’re equal that can clean up after themselves and you don’t have to yell at him to put on deodorant, or clean his room or whatever it may be. Somebody who knows how to cook and clean up after themselves. If this person is 10 years younger than you, and has his life together, owns his own home, has a stable job, whatever the situation is then by all means, if he’s a 20 year old with five baby mamas, probably not a good idea. The last thing you want us to be the six baby mama that he’s not supporting. Good luck.
