3cm? Labor or no…..

So I’m kinda freaking out.  My c section is scheduled for Sept 25th (cephalopelvic disproportion).  I went to the Dr. today for a check and to her surprise I’m 3cm dilated.  I’m not having contractions or anything but this is baby #2.  I know I can stay at 3cm for a while but I can’t help but worry my water will break or something tonight.   Gahhh

Unless your having contractions or your waters actually break I wouldn't worry. Even if that happens they'll only bring your csection forward.
They don't do routine internal examinations in my country for exactly this reason, it just causes worry when you don't need to.

We call it the walking 4 bc you can be walking around at 4cm (or less) for weeks without anything else happening.

Yes you can stay 3cm for awhile, with my second I was 3cm for like a month and she still didn’t come until 2 days before her due date. If you go into labor and call your doctor they will just move your c section up. So it should be ok. Good luck mama!!
