TTC after laparoscopic surgery, advice?
My Husband and I have been TTC for 3 years with no luck, I'm 25. Three months ago I was sent to the ER due to a chocolate cyst bursting on my right ovary, and then finding my left one was completely swallowed by another huge cyst. I was promptly scheduled for an out of state surgery with a reproductive specialist to give me the best chances of keeping my ovary, knowing I am and have been desperate to have a child..The surgery was successful and they were able to remove 98% of the cyst without damaging or removing the ovary. He told me I have a 3-5 year window before the cysts will be a huge problem again. Now, during this time I was put on birth control to suppress cyst formation. I stayed on it one month after the surgery, then he said I could get off of it and start trying. This is my first cycle since the surgery and since being off birth control. It's definitely not as painful as they've been in the past and wasn't relatively late, but not exactly on time. Any way, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience or advice for us. We want to get pregnant so badly! It's been a huge, depressing, and emotional journey..I have been given a lot of hope, but I'm afraid to give into it just to lead to more disappointment..Thanks in advance.
