How can you tell ?

I havent had an ultrasound since 19 weeks .. How can I tell if the baby is head down ? I guess I'll ask my doctor  , next visit in Thursday but I'm just curious

For me I feel his hiccups in my pelvis

My obgyn showed me where our little dude is. For a few days I swore his butt was sticking out on my right side- hoping it wasn't his head so late in the game. I was right! His head is down, but on the right and legs at my ribs. Your dr should be able to know just by feel. :)

Mine kicks with both feel up near my ribs so he's therefore head down. Sometimes when he stops kicking and just stretches I can feel the size of his foot. :)

I can feel his hiccups very low in my pelvic, kicks high up in my ribs, belly changed shape, much more pelvic pressure, and could feel him stretch his butt out to one side. :) My Dr confirmed my suspicions with me just by feeling around on my belly. He's been trying to come since 25weeks. Thankfully he's now stuck in position and engaged. No turning around now! :)

We just got to see where our little man is on Thursday..for me, the 2 biggest give aways are kicks up high around my ribs/little flutters near my hip and pelvic area (doctor said flutters were most likely hands) as well as this strange pelvic heaviness. I typically feel/see his booty sticking out on one side and legs/feet on the other.

I can tell because she is kicking me in my ribs.....but the doctor/midwife can try and feel your belly to find where baby's head is at. If by chance the doctor isn't sure, they will schedule an ultrasound.

My stomach changed shape. Instead of the bulge looking more horizontal it sticks out more vertical.

I can tell because i can tell where her back is and that she is kicking me in my ribs as I type this actually. But my last three appointments my dr like squeezes down there and always yes yep she's head down.

How can you tell ?
