If you're in a successful relationship or marriage, what would you attribute to your success? What are some ways to keep a relationship going strong? I've been with my SO almost 5 years and we are the happiest and healthiest couple that either of us know personally. I think the biggest factors in our success thus far are my emphasis on privacy and communication. I'm extremely private. I don't talk about my relationship with friends OR family, I don't talk about it at all on social media (to the point where many people don't even know I'm even in a relationship), and we don't follow each other on social media. The only people who really know anything about us is US. We are very much open about our relationship and love for one another, but our lives are completely our own. It has made me a bit of a hermit, but it has also made the two of us stronger than ever. We have a bond like no other. That and being honest and open to talk about any and everything. Communication can be difficult but if you work hard at it, it is so rewarding.
