TW - talk of miscarriage - advice needed about d&c

Hello,

I found out today my baby’s heart stopped beating at 7w 3days, I should have been 7w 6days today.

This is my second missed miscarriage however I do have a 1 year old boy.

I would like to know other’s experiences about the d&c what were your side effects etc, was their pain or any complications.

I didn’t have any complications with my other one, it was a pill inserted and within a couple of hours everything passed however I was in a lot of pain, was throwing up and fainted. I went to A&E because of the bleeding and they took the remains away. Quite honestly I don’t want to have to deal with or see what comes out as I still picture it today also if at home where would I put it? I just don’t want to flush my baby down the toilet if you understand.

Any advice and experiences of the D&C would be appreciated and if it caused any complications getting pregnant again.
