 My husband cleans and tries his best. But he rarely puts stuff where they belong. And he’s totally ok with shit all over his car. And he forgets times and dates of school events or doctors appts.
 Not all the time but quite often. Like did the doctor drop u on ur dam head?
 Im type a so I have very little tolerance for shit like that

Has nothing to do with gender. Some people are less organized and more forgetful. For many people, including myself, that forgetfulness is part of being neurodivergent. If your husband is so forgetful that it’s impacting his day to day life, maybe he should consider getting an evaluation done.

I get that for organised people it can be annoying to be with someone who isn't as organised but you said he's trying. He's probably annoyed with some of the things you're not doing 'right'.

Im like that. Turns out I have ADHD inattentive type that was never diagnosed as a kid. One of the biggest challenges in my marriage has been trying to get my husband to understand that Im not just lazy/uncaring, but things like this are truly a big challenge for me.

I’m the “disorganized and forgetful one” in my relationship but I also have ADHD so it makes total sense. My husband is a stickler for organization and routine. organization isn’t a gender thing.

I know some very organized and tidy men who keep track of dates n all but I also know men like your husband and then there’s men like my husband who’s not very tidy but very good at schedules and planning. Def can’t generalize.
