I'm nervous to tell our families because his mom is SUPER controlling. When we announced our engagement she didn't even say congrats or smile or anything. Just "whens the day?" "Oh, no, you can't get married that day. That's a bad time for me." (Didn't switch the day BTW...) And about a year ago (been married for about 1 1/2 years at that point) I mentioned kids for a second to my mil and she freaks out saying IM (not we, but ME) not ready to have kids yet. And then when I said that when I do get prego I'm going to wait till 12w to tell anyone she says "oh no you're not! You're going to be too excited and you'll tell right away" (obviously this woman doesn't know me at all.......) So I'm nervous she's going to give us all kinds of crap and make it ALL about herself, like always. We're planning on moving across the country like RIGHT after the baby is born so hubby can go to graduate school. She's going to flip about that cuz that means she can't guilt us into driving the hour to her house 4Xs a week a newborn (and if we did live here still at that time that is seriously her expectations) Suppose to be such a special moment and I'm just scared she's going to wreck it like she did with our engagement. And to make it worse I mentioned wanting kids to my Uncle and he flipped saying I should wait (I'm 24, been married almost 3 years, hubby has awesome job, and we own our home). Little did he know I was already prego when he said that. I just have a horrible feeling that it's going to be a huge mess. Soooooooo glad I'm getting super far away from in laws when baby is born.

Anyone else worried or have people mad (even though you're freaken MARRIED?!)?
