Menstrual Cup?

Question

So I've heard of these reusable "menstrual cups" that are apparently the hot new thing right now. Has anyone used one or can shed some light one how they work? How well the work? Is it messy?

I'm just curious about the whole thing....

I just bought a femme cycle cup not 2 days ago. Really excited to start using it. YouTube was a huge help in learning more about cups. I've heard the femmecycle is the best

I've been using a menstrual cup for almost 2 years now.  I personally love it.  They are far more comfortable than tampons or pads and if it is inserted correctly it does not leak at all. You can leave them in for up to 12 hours at a time.  I always clean myself up down there when I change with wash cloth and soap or a vaginal wet wipe and that's about it for mess.  If the cups in there right blood will not leak out of you so you aren't going to find in on your undies, sheets, pants etc.  I would definitely recommend them

I just started using a diva cup and I'm in love with it. It blows my mind how great it is.

I have a tilted cervix so tampons were very uncomfortable and I leaked easily. The cup fits great and I can swim again. Couldn't recommend enough.

Menstrual cups work by collecting the blood from your period.  After 12 hours (or sooner if you wanna change it sooner) you pull it out, empty it, rinse it out (I also wash mine with unscented soap) and reinsert it.
