Anyone feel contractions in the front of their legs?

I keep getting cramps in my upper thighs. It’s been happening on and off for the past few days. Could that be part of contractions?

I personally have not, but one of the nurses in L&D said that some women will describe that! It depends a lot on how baby is sitting, your anatomy, nerves affected, etc. I had severe hip contractions (felt on the very outside of my hips like someone was trying to rip my legs out of their sockets) with my second, but did not re-experience this with my third.
