Ladies I need your advice please.

We want for are first US Tuesday I was meant to be 11w3days but she said the baby measured 7w4days and no heartbeat me and my partner are in shock/heartbroken as we have 2 healthy boys. I have no pain no bleeding. It's been 5 days now since we found out. We have to go back up the hospital on the 12th January for another scan which will be 2 weeks the day we found out the foetus didn't have a heartbeat, I have read online that most women who have had a missed miscarriage go back within a week. We didn't get any information about what was happening or what will happen and I was wondering how long will it take for my body to realise the miscarriage? As its now been 5 weeks since the foetus died I'm confused
