Is it lip tie?

I’m trying to breastfeed my baby but he isn’t able to latch properly.. his upper lip folds inward.. is it lip tie?

Yes it is. You need to see a pediatric dentist to have it clipped

RDH here and absolutely. Take him to a pediatric dentist and they’ll be able to laser it off. Hope he’s able to latch better once it’s been done 🩵

Yes! Looks like.one.to me. I would have your ped look at it. My second that i tried to breastfeed didnt have any ties so not sure where to go from there to get it taken care of. Poor babe! Goodluck momma! I would check the.bottom of the tongue.too

And most of the time lip and tongue ties go hand in hand, if you have one you have the other. My second kiddo had both. A pediatric dentist used a laser procedure to correct it. It was fast and easy. Cost me $400 ($200 for each tie) and she said if it ever needed to be corrected again there was no charge.

It’s a lip tie. Pediatric dentists can release them. 
All of my kids have had them and only two needed to be released .
I’ve found football hold gives you more control over their head if you have to adjust how they are latching   I also had to hold open their top lip and help them latch till the tie was released
