He's finally here!
At 40 weeks and 6 days, after 10 days of prodromal labor, my little man finally arrived. Labor was pretty quick, starting around 9:30 am and he was born at 2:25 pm. It took about two hours to go from my water breaking on its own to pushing. He did have a true knot in his cord which was also wrapped around his neck, but we were fortunate the cord was so long and caused no problems aside from some him inhaling some fluid on the way out. The nurses and doctors were all surprised! He was 10lbs 8oz and 22.5 inches long. All medication free and without tearing, and my easiest recovery. I feel so grateful to my husband for supporting and helping me have such an amazing birth.
