Cold Medicine & pregnancy?

Just found out I was pregnant last week, however of course I've come down with a horrible head cold!! I've been trying my hardest not to take anything but I feel absolutely awful, does anybody know what is safe or not to take? I've read a lot of stuff online but some of it is conflicting...

I just went through this and I took Sudafed (got it from the pharmacist who I told I was pregnant because there are different kinds and you can only have certain ones) and Tylenol

Suddafed. I asked the pharmacist if the one I chose was okay for pregnancy. He said as long as it's suddafed and Tylenol. Hope you feel better!

Sudafed! Your dr can give you a list of everything safe to take and what isn't safe!
