Mucus plug? Brown/rust discharge

I believe i know this answer (5th baby) but some reassurance would be really nice. This afternoon i noticed some rust colored discharge in my underwear and when wiping. Little bit later i used the restroom and upon wiping had a glob of brown/rust colored discharge, maybe about a teaspoon amount. Definitely gelatinous in texture so im thinking some mucus plug? Im 35wks but hubby wont be back until the first week of October so while i know mucus plug doesnt mean labor is imminent it definitely has me nervous.
