Language in 2015

✈️
Every new year a few sources compile lists of the best and worst language trends of the out going year. This time Oxford English Dictionary chose 😂 as its word of the year.  Meanwhile Dictionary.com picked identity (as in racial, sexual, or gender identity).  As the most relevant term. (I know my use of this one has certainly increased in 2015).
On the flip side Lake Superior State University gave us its annual list of words and phrases that should be banned in 2016. It includes:
So (at least starting sentences this way)
Conversation
Problematic
Stakeholder
Price Point
Secret Sauce
Break the Internet
Walk it back
Presser
Manspreading
Vape
Giving me life
Physicality
I'm know I'm guilty of occasionally starting starting a Glow "conversation" using "so…" Also over use of the term "problematic" irritates the hell out of me.
What about everyone else? Is identity more relevant today? Any terms you love stricken? Or does this whole topic just make you 😂?
