Has anybody tried primrose oil?

I bought some today and was wondering if anybody else has tried it? 
Is it any good? 
I'm just trying new options and would like some advice:)

What do you wish the evening primrose oil to do for you? I took 2000mg evening primrose oil once I came off the pill. I had a short luteal phase and didn't seem to have any/much ewcm. I took it from the first day of my period till I ovulated then stopped. It seemed to work as it helped balance my hormones and legenthed my luteal phase from 9 days to 12 days. Got pregnant on our third cycle.

Has anybody tried primrose oil?
