How do you guys deal ?

Dad struggles a lott with getting our boys 5&3 out of this house.

He gives them a heads up. Ok now you have xx minutes so go pee and put on ur socks (for ex). Time comes closer and he’s like ok u hav to start getting ready to put on ur shoes otherwise im leaving (and for ex they still haven’t peed). Then its time to leave and they’re still just playing. And at this point dad will always say ok im leaving and starts heading out the door sometimes going to his car. The kids almost always start crying and then im like can u not threaten to leave without them and everyone’s just upset.

They’re really easy when I bring them out. It’s always just with dad and dad’s the one who always in my opinion overreacts. I keep telling him if he knows theyre gona be like that start getting ready thirty minutes before leaving and not to threaten to leave without them.

Any advice for me or dad?
