Birthday weekend away... Chances of delaying period?

My husband has booked me a surprise child-free weekend away for just the two of us, my period is due the week before but have a habit of being slightly late, I'm scared I will ruin the weekend by having my period then! Is there anyway I can delay it or bring it on earlier without using any contraception pills?

Nope, not unless you use birth control pills, she's going to come when she wants to.

U can get medication from your Gp. I get it when i'm going on holiday and dont want to be on my period. U have to take it 3 days before your period is due and twice a day until you get back then once stopped your period should come.
