What would you guys do in my situation?

School starts in January and ends in May which means I would give birth in April. I really don't want to miss a semester but I'm really wondering wether I should go for it or wait it out. Any experiences with this?

In that situation I would probably wait it out. You could always take some classes the summer semester to make up for what you missed. You don't know how receptive your new teachers will be to you missing some classes. I'm in a radiology program for 2 years with the same teachers the whole time so they already know I'll be missing days and are fine with it. Do you have the option of talking to the teacher before spending your money registering for the classes?

I go to community college and I'm due April 1st, and winter term (which starts tomorrow) ends just a couple weeks before I'm due. I plan on just taking a couple classes online during spring term. Talk to your advisor and financial aid as well (if you use it) and let them know what's going on and try to plan something suitable for you.

I'd discuss it with your school and the professor(s). Could be do able to work ahead if difficult. Or your teacher could be completely unwilling to help.
