We don't have a lot of room so we are throwing around the idea of getting a mamaroo instead of a cradle swing and a rock and play. The price seems to be about the same. What do you think? I need to finalize registries because shower invites are going out.

My fiancé bought a MamaRoo for his now 2yr old and he loved it so much that's all he talks about getting our daughter due in April! So, apparently it's worth the crazy amount of money u pay for it but hey, if it helps as much as he claims it does then it pays for itself in a few uses!!

I haven't tried it, but I've heard some mixed reviews on the mamaroo. Some people swear by it and others have babies that don't care for it at all.

For that reason I'd rather do the swing and rocker - better chance baby will like at least one of them. It would really suck to put that much money into one product just for it to be a flop!

Not sure if price is an issue for you. If you look at reviews and comparisons you might be able to save over 100 dollars based on what you feel is necessary. We opted for a brand new 2014 version of mamaRoo as we didn't care about the app controlling capabilities.
