In Which week should i go for ultrasound in early pregnancy? M confused. .i am 4 weeks nd 2 days

I had one at like 5w4d and I wish I hadn't. We could only see the gestational sac (nothing inside it) and I was so worried for weeks until I had my next US at 7w1d. At that appointment we could see the tiny baby and a heart beat flicking. So I would say anything before 6 weeks is pretty pointless.

Depends on your doctor. I personally wouldn't want one before the 7-8 week range before that there isn't much to see and can be really disappointing. At 7-8 weeks you can see the heartbeat which is really exciting. Some won't do it before the 13 week downs screening though.

My first one was at around 7weeks. I would ask your Dr. Mine told me they need to check and see where it is and make sure there's a heartbeat at that point.  I go back Jan 25th for my second one and I'll be around 12 weeks.

Unless you're having issues, your first one will be at 12-13w for the test for downs, trisomy, etc. After that will be 20w
