what are your guys' thoughts and experience on IUD

Question

I have the implant and I don't really have any complaints except for the fact I'm constantly breaking out and I get my periods for weeks on end..I'm seriously considering switching to an IUD but I'd like to hear some personal experiences!

I had the Mirena IUD for 5 years and it was great . My main complaint was the fact that 90% of the time , I would have bad cramps after sex . And I know that isn't quite common for someone who has IUD but it definitely is a possibility .

Also the insertion is NOT fun , quite painful actually , but it's semi quick . The removal was much easier , just a quick cramping and they pull it out and that's it .

Just do your research , but the IUD is an awesome choice if you don't want to have to worry about birth control :)
