Going off my birth control
I have been on birth control since was was 18. Over the last year I found out that I had cystic. The doctor wanted to treat with depo for less periods. So I agreed to it, but what my doctor didn't tell me was about all the nasty side effects that came with the shot. Weight gain (Which was never a problem on the pill) and which in located In my mid section and face. Crazy mood swings, and more. Over the last 6 months I have been talking to my partner about stopping birth control to give my body a chance to fix itself, detox off the birth control. My partner is very upstanding and promises to use protection. Due to the fact that we are not ready for a baby. But still my biggest concern is getting pregnant. Any advice?
