It depends on if you have specific requests. Like we want to delay 1 of the routine things they do until baby's first check up and I would prefer not to have pitocin or an epidural. It's more of our birth "preferences" than a plan because sometimes things don't go as planned. But it's good for the nurses to know if you have specific preferences. If you plan on doing everything that is typical for the hospital then there isn't really a need for a birth plan.

I have a rough outline of what I want, but it will all depend on what the little one decides.  It's kind of his show.

I had a birth plan with our first and nobody went by it, so I dont see the point. I was basically the verbal version with our second, and it worked out great for me.

I didn't have one with my son and everything worked out fine lol contractions started at 4am I woke up started timing and around 7:30 they seemed to be about 5-6 minutes apart I grabbed my hospital bag called my mom and me and my husband went to the hospital (my mother best us there tho she lives further than we do LOL) and tada was smooth from there lol my mom called everyone else I just had to call her ;D
