Miscarriage?

Hi mamas. I found out I was pregnant last week. I started tracking just due to having a miscarriage in the past. Today I did have some bleeding and when I tested I noticed it looks lighter instead of darker. My OB won’t see me until I’m at least 7wks but does the lightening of the line indicate a drop in HCG thus

ending in another miscarriage?

unfortunately it could mean that.. usually bleeding/spotting in early pregnancy is common and doesn’t always mean any harm… if your OB won’t see you until 7 weeks what you can do is ask your doctor for HCG quantitative lab work and then ask to do the same lab tests again in three days to see if your HCG is doubling. The faint line could just be your urine too diluted or something. Good luck💛

It’s hard to know. it could be because it’s later in the day and your urine is more diluted or it could be due to you HCG dropping. I’ve had bleeding in both my pregnancies. One was successful and one was a miscarriage. Line progression is unfortunately not a good way to determine viability.

I can’t truly say because it could be time of day. Some of mine after I had a digital yes, dipped in color later in the day. I mean now I’m super pregnant so I haven’t even tried anymore. And even I started bleeding early but it went away. Just know it’s out of your control and I’m praying everything is okay. 🫶🏻
