So right after we found of we were expecting my mother in law to be decided that she was going to just up and move to Florida. The day we took her to the airport she mentioned that she would be back for two weeks after the birth. Well about a week later my SO told me that she was going to be staying with us for that two weeks. I kind of freaked out on him saying that I didn't want someone staying with us for 2 WEEKS after having our son. I just wanted it to be him and I figuring things out and adjusting to our new life with our baby. I said that its one thing to have family and friends over to visit and help out a little but having her here for 2 weeks was a lot and I didn't want someone being over us constantly telling us that she will get the baby or change him or whatever it is. I want to be able to do it and not have someone standing over us. Am I wrong for feeling this way? Should I just go along with it and let her stay?
