Phlegm sounding after bottle

FTM here - has anyone experienced their newborn sounding phlegmy after formula? We've done combo since day one of breast feeding and formula and just since he had thrush have I noticed intermittently sounding congested/ phlegm like after having formula. Any suggestions??
