What do you ladies think of an open relationship? Is it a bad idea?

It's a very bad idea. Not only do you risk bringing STI's and STD's into your relationship, but there is nothing better and more fulfilling than having sex with the one person you love. If you're having sex with other people than you will never have that. And I personally would be offended if my boyfriend asked that of me. It's basically a slap in the face. He's telling you that you aren't enough to satisfy him, that he needs other women. To me it's disrespectful. Choose what is best for you and what will make you happy. Best of luck!!

well, im polyamorous so i guess you could say that my SO and i have an open relationship but there are still strict rules that i follow (the rules are only really for me considering my SO is monogamous af). So, i would suggest talking to him about it a bit more and making sure everything is straight in your head before jumping to any conclusions/decisions. It takes a lot more trust and communication than a normal relationship, and you have to make sure everyone involved is comfy with whats going on. My SO and i have been dating for a few months and everything is 👌 even though ive dated and broken up with and had sex with other people while we were dating (all before asking his permission since thats one of our rules). It honestly just depends from one person to the next. If it's not for you then there's nothing at all wrong with you; it just isn't for you. Remember: different strokes for different folks. My SO and I are both bisexual, so there are things he enjoys sexually that I can't do for him, and vice versa. If he approached me about an open relationship, I would probably be okay with trying it although I have no idea how that would work in practice

I'd love to have one, probably will in the future. It's all up to the people in the relationship though, and the rules you lay down. If you're a jealous person, don't do it. Or if you're possessive, don't.

Yes it is a very bad idea, if he wants to be with other chicks besides you then let him and don't get involved in it. An open relationship is more like an fwb. And I don't fuck with that so yea terrible idea
