Being a hotel housekeeper?

For anyone who’s a hotel housekeeper for a large chain or previously, what is it like? I am really in need of a job to pay my bills and considering it for now even though it’s going to be hard for me physically.

I was one for like 2ish months while home from school for summer. It can defs be physically demanding, and you will come across nasty stuff in hotel rooms, so just be prepared. Also make sure to check for tips, people will often leave like a couple dollars either in the drawers or under the pillow. I had no clue people even tipped housecleaning before I started.

I worked as a laundry cleaner and housekeeper at two different hotels and I liked it because you have one task basically all day but sometimes the hours can lack, and management at the one I worked at didn’t really do anything to help you get more. But sometimes there’s cash tips!
