What is your profession and what is something that happens in your profession that annoys you?

I'll go first! I'm a teacher and my PET PEEVE is when I lend a student a pencil and they purposefully turn it into a little tiny pencil. Like I gave this 8th grader a nice, tall sharpened name brand pencil and he's gonna turn it an inch tall?

Restaurant manager. My annoyance is servers that work 20/25 hours a week, make $70 an hour, don’t claim any taxes, get free healthcare through the state, and then act like I’m ruining their lives by asking them to show up on time and do their side work after their 6 hour shift 🙄

Im a social worker with CPS and the thing that annoys me most is being blamed. We are blamed for everything by everyone. It’s pathetic that adults go around blaming people instead of taking things as they are with no judgment.

I’m an ABA therapist for kids with autism. My pet peeve is when parents enable their kids by babying them and not giving them a chance to try things independently before taking over.

Teacher. It pisses me off when students take other students’ stuff without permission thinking it’s funny. It’s not yours! Stop touching other people’s stuff! Ugh.

High school teacher/college professor. Not turning assignments in on time when they are due. They get a week to do things and I do not accept late work. It’s a zero. They get numerous reminders via email and Remind. 
Oh the pencil thing irritates my soul. OR they take all the lead out of their mechanical pencils and leave the lead on the desks and floors. Or they just leave their supplies in the classroom. 🙃

I’m a concrete finisher. I just got into doing it so I don’t really have a list of pet peeves yet, although I am sure give it time and I’m going to have a list of things. As with any jobs though, one of my biggest pet peeves would be others not pulling their weight but in this profession while annoying the big bosses take notice of things like that, so they’re really only hurting themselves as far as getting work over others who bosses see are actually working.
