Trigger Warning- Have you ever been hit?

I ran into a disagreement with a coworker who has never been hit in her life. She thinks it’s odd that I have been hit, but I think it’s odd that she hasn’t been. For clarification when I say hit I am including being kicked, slapped, punched, etc. I am also including any person in life (parent, child, sibling, partner, bully, stranger, etc.). I am a relatively well adjusted person, but I was definitely hit by my parents, my sister, a couple bullies, and most recently my toddler lol. Heck my son is about a year and a half and I know he’s been hit by some kid at daycare. He has also hit some kid at daycare. I feel like in some way it’s a normal part of life even if it shouldn’t be. Have you ever been hit? Please vote and let me know what you think.
