What do you say to someone dealing with heart break

My husband was my very first boyfriend. We met at 14, started dating at 15 and got married at 18. He's all I've ever known. I never went through the whole heart break/cheating stuff. I found the one very quickly. My brother on the other hand has went through heart break. He's been divorced because his ex wife cheated and shortly after his divorce he started experimenting with his sexuality. He's come out as pansexual and has been with his boyfriend 3 years. His boyfriend went out of state to Washington because he had to go for a custody battle with his ex. And he started ghosting my brother and then text dumped him saying he's staying down in Washington. And they were together 3 years. My brother has been emotional and depressed. Asking me why he's never good enough and idk what to say. I've never been through this type of things. For people who have, what do you wanna hear?
