Are you lenient on what your children wear?

Do you have to make children presentable when they go out to the front yard, Park playground, store?

I purchased some Crocs and the same week a piece from the front of the shoe got worn out but my child love the shoes and wears them out today someone commented about the shoes.

He likes getting dirty and muddy I usually have a set of clothes when he plays and he likes to get his hands dirty earthworms, gardening and rolling in the grass, fall leaves and he gets the clothes dirty, worn and the shoes worn out but I wonder what other parents do?

When you get out of the house how are the kids usually dressed
